I can't believe it, but the time is almost here that we'll be leaving on our first trip! We've been homeschooling for about a month now, and things seem to be going fairly well. We've settled into a routine pretty easily, so I'm glad about that. It's definitely been an adjustment though. I'm pretty tired by the time evening comes, and on the weekends the kids get on each other's nerves a lot more, since they're around each other ALL the time!
But we're excited about the reason we're doing this - to travel! In preparation for our trip out west, the kids each learned about a different National Park that we'll be visiting. They made brochures, and then they shared them with the rest of the family.
