Saturday afternoon we left for out west! We had a long plane ride (plus a short one), but everything went smoothly. We zipped through security and made it to our gate with plenty of time to spare. Our 4:30pm flight was slightly delayed in boarding, but the kids were greatly entertained by watching all the inner and outer workings of planes landing, taking off, and everything in between!
Our trip begins!
Our four hour plane ride to Salt Lake City went very smoothly. The kids enjoyed watching Cartoon Network on the tvs on the back of the seats, while Kevin read some, and I played the inflight trivia. I did surprisingly well on the trivia, which is not normally my thing! The game reminded me of my dad, because he loved trivia stuff like that.
Anyway, we had a brief layover in Salt Lake City, and then a short plane ride to Jackson, Wyoming. It was dark when we landed, so we didn't get to see the great view, but it was neat coming off the plane because we walked through an archway of elk antlers.
By the time we got the car rented and got to our hotel, it was close to midnight our time. We were exhausted! The kids were a little hyped up and pretty goofy. but we made it!
